I have had my gsd for a little over a week now and 100% raw now. She is about 4 months old. She got a little diarhea and pumpkin cured her. I have 2 problems, She won't eat her vegs. As a matter of fact she wont eat anything her vegs are mixed in. I used the bullet and minced it up, I also tried giving whole to no avail. This is going on day 3 of just picking it up, and giving it back to her at the next feeding. The other problem is with her chicken. She loves it, but she chews for awhile and then swollows it whole. This has caused her to throw it up and try again or get sick later on.
My previous gsd ate it all with no problems at all.
Also her nose is to the ground the whole time we go outside. This distracts her from even getting her fav toy. Maybe tracking work?
My dogs don't love veggie's either. I feed RMB's one meal and muscle, organ and veggies at the second meal. I cut/grind the meat and organs up into small pieces and add the pulverized veggies. Otherwise they might not eat their organ or veggies. I also add the supplements to this meal and have had great success. Good luck.
All mine have eaten anything we give but try adding some liver or kidney in the bullet. I use the bullet also like the results but sometimes take to long to get the consistancy I am looking for. Also add an egg shell and all this may help.
