i would like to begin by saying that i do not at all participate in dog fighting. I have a 5 month old rottweiler that i am training in personal protection. Me and him would run ALOT and i would play with him all the time when i was home, but now i only have time to play alot like 4 hours a day but still its odd he never gets tiered. so i was thinking, i always see people on pitbull fourms using a flat rug mill? that they have there dog run on and it builds muscle but it lets off alot of energy that the dogs have. Would it be ok for him to use it? Thanks in advanced

Do you mean a treadmill? I've never heard of a flat rug mill.
I would be VERY careful about running your puppy too much at this age. He's still growing and you don't want to stress his joints and growing bones. Playing is good but too much running is not.

I am assuming this is similar to (if not) a treadmill? If so, then go for it. That is what I use with my dogs in the winter....only thing is, your dog is too young to be doing that right now. I would wait til the dog is at least a year and half or more old for treadmill work. And start with LIGHT work even then.
Puppies need time to grow strong bones and joints and jogging on a treadmill would be like high impact with people.
Runs on soft ground (not concrete or hard packed roads) are great.
4 hours is plenty of time to play with your pup and take them for nice energy draining walks.
I am assuming he is crated most of the day? Putting in some obedience work, nothing major, just the basics will help him burn energy also. Puppies get tired learning all that great new stuff!!
