Hey there,
I have a few years left in the military but still wanted to see what kind of job opportunities are out there. I am actually looking for any jobs in Australia. My aim would to be working with police dogs for detection and patrol work.
Like i said i have a few years (get out in Sep 2010) so i am looking to network and see what kind of jobs are out there.
Edit. I will go where the work is but Australia would be nice for a few years.

Blackwater USA has their own K9 section, and are located up around NC area. A former MWD handler would be right up their ally for handler jobs, and if you progress in your level of training abilities, they may have positions open for trainers in their kennel also. Blackwater has job openings all over the world.

I wasent sure about there training positions. I knew it would be pretty easy for me to get a contract from them as a handler (part of the reason i re-uped so i would have the required amount of time)
