Sefi,
I think Dr. Helmut Raiser's book "Der Schutzhund" is a classic. He not only gives you the definition of a drive but goes into how to tell what drive the dog is in, and also channeling from one drive to the other. He also gives the explanation as to why you want to use channeling and much more. I like this little booklet because he lays things out simple enough, but because of his science background he can also lay the foundation for you using scientific theory. I also believe this little book has stood the test of time up to this point.
iam looking for more general information who might be later conclude on sport, real work and all subject that relat dog training and behevior.
it is mostly ment to give the foundations of "how the dog mind work" allthou the subjects Reese has mentions (thank you) is some iam looking for iwill look for that book, do you know what publisher supplay it?
OK this might be a little more book then your looking for and your students English would have to be pretty strong. But i have Volume One of these books and it is great. I have heard even better things about this book.
