I wanted to thank Betty Waldrom for hosting a training day at her house. It was great meeting some new folks and talking with old friends, and getting to know some of the people better from this board. I hope we can do it again. Again thanks Betty and her husband for the BAR-B-Q. They were wonderfull hosts and made all feel welcome. Besides the good dog training, we got to eat!!!!

550 if I remember correctly! Will have them up shortly, this pesky thing of a job is interfering.
What a wonderful group of people and dogs! Saw a couple of very promising young dogs that I hope to see more of.
Looks like we will repeating it in exactly 4 weeks from the last one, I want to make sure it is on one of Col's weekends off so that he can come if he wants!
Big thanks to Art, Mike, Will, and Col for donating both sweat and knowledge!
Yeah Art had a great time on Saturday. I got Cole committed to twice a month at least, if not we will have to go to plan B!!
I had Art out a few times this past week and he is coming along so the more practice he gets the better. I'll see you Friday.
Yeah, he even made it out to me on Sunday and worked a couple of my dogs. He got there a little late or he could have worked a few more strong dogs from the group, along with working my two, maybe he planned it that way? LOL. I told him next time I am not even suiting up to work so it is all him. However, I have not seen him since.......I guess he needs to be able to walk the next day.
Art is really getting to work some excellent strong dogs. Not many guys have that when first starting out. Everytime I see him he is getting better.
It was a really nice day for sure. Betty is a gracious host and lunch is always good, next time I want Will to do some culinary magic that he has been working so hard at these days.
I feel lucky to work a lot of finished and up and coming quality dogs starting out. I can do the routine, but reading dogs correctly and learning what to do and not what to do is the hard part. Doing a trial routine is well, routine for the most part.
Lots of good dogs that day, Fetz (love the Czech dogs) is a nice dog and handsome, Capri, Annabelle and the infamous "Doc Conneforde" I have seen a lot of dogs lately and he is what I like to see in a dog and I cannot wait to see more of him as he trains and gets titled.
Doc is one dog you dont mess around with as a decoy, I almost found out the hard way but he gave me a pass for another day. I can't wait to see him again
