Can anyone recommend an excellent commercial frozen raw all-nutural product? I have heard very good things about K9 Cravings, but I don't have the freezer space for their size shipments.
What about Nature's Variety - Prairie? Any help is greatly appreciated.

All of these are frozen commercial foods, they all have positives and negatives. Check their websites for distributors in your area. I am sure there are others I haven't listed. Depending on what area of the country you are in you may still need to expand your freezer space to order these foods, as the shipping will kill you.
No, I don't feed the premixed products on a regular basis... so I can't really tell you.
Their cost, even if you do have a local source is somewhat prohibitive when you have multiple dogs.
I can't see paying $1.50/lb for chicken mix when I can buy the same ingredients here for around $.50/lb I am comfortable not grinding the food and my dogs are comfortable doing their own grinding. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
I use Abady from time to time--if you're referring to the granular stuff. Really good dog food: I noticed a real boost in endurance when I first started using it, but a full-time diet of it seems too "hot" for my GSD, so I alternate with other things, including green tripe from greentripe.com, which I think is the best frozen raw dog food you can get: it's from grass-fed beef from Harris Ranch!
Apparently, Abady also has a frozen raw diet. Someone recommended mixing the raw with the granular, and then phasing out the granular. I am curious what you mean by too "hot."
NV is overpriced. Then the shipping fees...whew...no way.

Amen to that. Heck even buying a small grinder for $100 would pay for itself in one small order of the expense of shipping in pre-made raw.
Just did my once-a-month veggie pulp-a-thon. Couple hours of work and about $30 feeds 3 large dogs (in training) for me. That's in addition to RMBs and other meaty stuff, but still. Much much more worth it to me to spend a little money and a couple of hours once a month.
Go to Green tripe.com They hav a break down in the vitamins and mineral. They also have a break in price for over 50 lbs. I buy there best Excalaber for 1.15 a lbs Ive had my pups on it sense they were 6 weeks. Ive never seen such great muscle tone.

By hot I mean that after a while on Abady he tends to scratch himself more, even though his coat looks great and there's no sign of dryness. He doesn't get hot spots, so perhaps "hot" is a bad term, but that's how I think of it. I'm not sure that once I finish the bag of Abady I have now that I'll continue with it, but it's worth trying--I know some people who swear by it.
I'd go along with Ron's comment on greentripe. Only drawback for some people is the hideous smell.
