Would this diet be a good solution for someone who doesn't feel comfortable feeding an all raw diet.
I know this thread is nearly a year old, but I wanted to comment.
I have been using this food on and off since it was first available. I mostly used it for travel, and as a part of my dogs' diets, not the sole ingredient.
I have a problem dog, that has had so many medical issues I have lost count, ever since I obtained her as an 8 week old pup. On a whim, I tried her on this food.
The difference in her is absolutely amazing, so much so that we will now be retailers for this food here at Leerburg.
We will now be using it in conjunction with the raw diet we currently feed, with all of our dogs and puppies.
I will have info available for those who are interested.

About flax seed:
This good source of Omega-3s is best introduced slowly, as it has a slightly laxative effect if started in sizable amounts. I start with 1/4 t./day for a large dog. Two weeks of gradually-increased amounts (up to about one tsp.) works well for me. Not a vet, but lots of canine nutrition study.

the flax seed in this food hasn't bothered my dogs(not even the problem child), there aren't huge amounts in there but all dogs are different. Use common sense, a gradual change in diet usually works the best.
No, you're right; I was responding to Nancy who was sayng that a lot of dogs don't tolerate flax well.
I've used the Embark and Force products for awhile now. I feed this with the puppies and they THRIVE on it with ground turkey. Everyone here at my house is all on it and in fact my new bag arrived today
