Has anyone tried this new food from Innova (EVO) http://www.naturapet.com it is 42.2% protein. I use to feed raw and plan on going back, but just curious about what you think of this food.
Corrine, here is a link for a kibble comparison from what I feed when not feeding raw. If the link doesn't work let me know. I feed Chicken Soup and have for quite sometime with wonderful results. I'm paying $29.98 without tax per 35lb bag of Adult formula. $32.24 with tax. I'll bet this EVO is priced higher for less food and has less ingredients. Let me know what you think.
I would have to back Glenn on that. Chicken Soup is great, both my mals and my mix mutt do great on it! Here is there website http://www.chickensoupforthepetloverssoul.com/. Great food for the price!
Thanks Glen. I have heard good things about Chicken soup, but I was trying to look for something with lower carbs. I am on Wellness with my dogs and they seem to be doing good. I noticed that the carbs on EVO are only about 12% with protein at 42.2%. I know the protein is high but with the low carbs I was thinking that maybe this would be the next best to raw? If I worried about what I eat half as much as I worry about my dogs <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Corinne, I know exactly what you mean about making sure you're dogs diet is the best possible that we can afford. I too am guilty of eating shit or not eating at all as long as my two females get the best. I'm an idiot! Sorry about mispelling you're name in my earlier post. Chicken Soup is some excellent kibble and when I cannot afford to feed raw I always go back to chicken soup. For the money and the results I haven't found anything better "except" for raw. The best joint supplement with personally proven results I use nothing but Cosequin. A little pricy but I have found a pretty good contact Vet that gives me a very good price.
