The "dog" ones like PPD, GSD, LEO and such were easy to get because you pick them up from reading the website, but the normal conversation ones can be real stumpers.
Man... the first time you threw out "OTOH" and "IME" (and especially FWIW, holy crap!!) I spent like 15 minutes at a time just sitting there scratching my head trying to figure them out. It just never occurred to me that you COULD acronymize (sorry, lol) everyday expressions like that.

And I didn't make up a single one of them, either. I saw them here or on other training forums, and had to figure them out. I thought I was the only one who wasn't in the "club."
I've seen people do it with YMMV (your mileage may vary)! Really! :>D
