Chciken soups isn't working? I bought The grocery brand then I bought the Campbell thinking its better. Its not.
Well, ok, I got you. Haha. I am just joking. ANyhow, now that I got your attention, I have a question.
Does anyone that feeds their dog chicken soup give them more stool than normal? My dog after being on it for 1.5wks or so has been going alot. Maybe 2-3 times a day. Is this the case with you guys? Its solid and whatnot but he goes alot.
I always heard if the dog goes alot then its a "bad" food. Meaning that they are not absorbing all the food that is taken in.
But then again, people speak so highly of it.
I also bought ADULT as the puppy food tend to make the Mal I have stretch to fast.
With Chicken Soup I find that I have to feed a lot less food than when I was feeding one of the lesser brands. I used to have to feed 4-5 cups/day with science diet or nutro, whatever they were on before, and now I only have to feed about 2-3 cups per day to keep the dogs a nice weight. My dogs weigh about 50, 60, and 65 pounds just to give you an idea. Maybe you are just feeding more than the dog needs, and the extra is just coming out the other end.
