Ok, I need some help with this one. We live right in town on a corner lot. Fenced in yard. 4 dogs!!!! Chaos is the ONLY one that barks nonstop when he is outside. He just started this like a month ago. He barks at EVERYTHING! Cats, people, squirls, you name it, he barks at it and doesn't stop even if we yell out the door or window for him to stop! We literally have to bring him in to stop him, so that we don't get turned in for excessive noise. We have lived in our house for 7 years now and have never been turned in for our dogs barking because we just don't allow them to go on once it starts. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
That is a good idea. Forgot all about those! I can get a citranella collar from the humane society for a couple of weeks and see if that works on him. I had one but one of my other dogs ate it!!!!

I just have one that is the same way....and I live on 80+ acres with no one around........that is what works and I have tried everything.
She is well exercised, socialized and spends tons of time with me and Doug, but she just will bark until I want to rip my hair out while in her kennel if I am home and doing something that does not include her.......

Ok, I stopped today and bought a Citronella collar for Chaos. I put it on him when I got home and shoved him out the door, lol. It was quite funny. He started as usual, bark bark and then ACK, ACK, LOL. He shook his head a little bit and looked at me like, I cannot believe you did this, lol. I stood back away from the slider and watched and listened. He did little tiny wooooof, woooooof, as quiet as he could, LOL. Then total quiet the rest of the time that he was out there! I think it's going to be nice and quiet around here from now on! Hope so any way........
His little butt is looking great : - } He goes back to the vet tomorrow for a recheck. And his hair is growing back nicely from his hot spots. Thanks for asking.
