I've had my 3 month old Beagle for about a month now. We've been experimenting on what kind of foods we should give her. In the morning its dry food with egg beaters mixed in. At night its half dry food, half Pedigree soft food.
For the past couple days she has had non-stop diarhea, we try to take her out every 2 hours, except durring the day when shes alone for 4-5 hours. Now its gotten to where she cant even hold it. Shes going in the house and in her cage. This just started today.
Do you think it has anything to do with her diet? Ive decided to go strictly dry food until this clears up. Poor puppy is miserable and so am I!! Help!

Do you think it has anything to do with her diet?
I would get her on at least an All-Natural kibble and get her off of the commercial food. Commercial food is really full of junk and is not good for your dog, no matter what they say.
Here is a list......

Have you ever thought about Raw Diet at all?

Thanks for the help Carol. When my little Beagle looks at me with those sad eyes and droopy ears it makes me want to melt, I know shes not feeling well.

The first thing I always do Heather, is no more feed of anything for 24 hrs. Except some plain yogurt or aged cottage cheese. Let the dogs stomach calm and regain balance. Never take away water!
Now look at the diet she's been getting up to now...............slowly start phasing it out to something more in tune with a dogs' system.
Don't worry she'll come out of this okay.

You can give her some oatmeal with her meal for two servings. I'd go about 1/3rd of the portion of oatmeal, with 2/3's being her kibble.
Also, if you love those sad puppy eyes, get her on one of the kibbles listed above right away. All the kibbles sold in Petsmart are questionable. I haven't seen anything worthwhile in a petsmart (or on TV, for that matter). Check local feed stores that also carry dog foods, they may have premium (All Natural) kibbles.
The best option is RAW as Carol suggested, but that should be done with a lot of research and thoughtfulness, not as a remedy for a problem that you want solved right away.
I'd also consider taking a fecal sample to the vet. It's around $40 - $55 to test it for every possible thing, and it's pretty easy to collect.
Also, Randy is dead on about cutting food for 24 hours. It's the first step I take for sudden diarrhea.

Although taking her food away seems like a good idea, she isnt eating anyway. She was givin plain food this morning and when I got home tonight she hadnt touched it. So you think yogurt will calm her stomach? Ive read in other posts that eggs are good for the dogs, but we took that away in fear that it is what is making her sick. Do you think that could be it seeing as she is so young her system cant handle that yet? I know nothing when it comes to puppies.. I need all the advice I can get right now!

Ditto.
PLENTY of water. And if you suspect dehydration now, call the vet now.
I would get a fecal and drop it off at the vet tomorrow. Non-stop diarrhea is no good.
Pedigree is one of the worst of the grain-heavy foods, but you can address that after the stomach is back to normal.
After a fast, then a little very overcooked white rice with a little white no-skin chicken, or a little yogurt mixed in, for long enough to settle the system.

Ive been making sure her water is full. She didnt touch her dry food all day but I just gave her a little bit of yogurt and that disappeared instantly. So no more food until tomorrow night, you guys are great! Im not worried so much about her being dehydrated. We always make sure she has plenty of water, excpecially when my boyfriend gets home around 10pm they go running around outside for a while. Shes still got plenty of energy, just in sperts.

Heather,
You can also boil some skinless boneless chicken breast and some white rice (boil that til it is overdone and like gruel) and feed her small amounts of that.
Don't know what it really is about it, but it is great for sore stomachs in dogs.
I would keep her off food til morning as well, just leave water down.
