I just had to give my little testimonial for Orijen dog food, as well as Vit E and Salmon Oil. Kodee's coat is coming in so shiny and slick looking I can't believe it! He's shedding his puppy coat, and I've never seen a dog 's coat grow in so glossy and slick in my life. I'm sure it both the food and the supplements, and for those of you (like me) who aren't ready for the raw diet yet, I highly recommend this food, as well as the Salmon Oil and Vit E (which Leerburg sells)
He's about 35 lbs, so he's getting 1 Vit E capsule (200 IU), and 2 pumps of the Salmon oil each day. Usually I can get away w/just putting the capsule in his food, and he normally will eat it. Occassionally he'll leave it in the bowl, and I have to stick the capsule in the back of his mouth, but he's really good about it - no struggle and never spits it out.

Hi Kori
Glad you are pleased with Orijen' it's a very good KibbleThat along with the Salmon Oil and Vit E the Dogs should do okay
What Kibble do you use the Meat Kibble or the Fish Kibble
We feed Both at the same time 75%Meat 25% Fish
Right now I'm using the Puppy Formula (meat), and when he finishes this bag, I will be buying the Adult Formula (this should be in a couple of weeks). He'll be right about 5 months old when he runs out of Puppy Formula. I was going to start w/the Meat kibble, but I was actually going to post and ask if I should do Fish, also. Would that be better for him nutritionally? I will probably buy the Meat kibble 1st, and when he's about 1/2 through that, buy the Fish one (it's just too expensive for me to buy 2 bags at once).
Steve- do you think I should mix the meat and fish as well? Or do you just do that b/c your dogs like it that way?
