Today I was playing w/Kodee on the floor, and he rolled over onto his back and had his mouth wide open, and OMG - I almost died laughing. It's the first time I've really looked at his teeth since he started teething, and he has his top front 2 adult teeth, and puppy teeth on each side of them. I've never seen anything so ridiculous-looking in my life! LOL - the fun surprises just keep on coming when you have a pup!
From the picture I can't really tell, but what you are describing is an "overbite" which is a "conformation fault" and is genetic. It shoudn't affect his eating etc., so if you are not going to show him in conformation, I would not worry about it.
No, I was trying to be funny - guess it didn't work. I'm just saying it looks really goofy for him to have the 2 adult teeth, surrounded by the little puppy teeth. He doesn't have an overbite. I guess I should stop attempting to be humorous (although I probably won't).

I know exactly what you are talking about Kori, it's the cutest thing isn't it? No matter how hard I tried I was never able to find one of my dogs baby teeth,
I wanted to save one, but so is life. It is so fun to watch them change and grow, but it happens too fast! Enjoy these puppy days, they will be gone oh to soon.
Do you mean he has the middle two incisors adult teeth, and the rest of the incisors are puppy teeth? If that's what you mean, you need to take a picture because it probably won't be like that for long. It must look REALLY silly.

Ooh. Won't work in Conformation. You should probably put him down.
Sorry. I sometimes ache with facetiousness that I cannot contain.
I know exactly what you mean, when they're that age the adult teeth look MASSIVE. I remember Macy coming at me, all giant ears and paws and two huge teeth. Not exactly ferocious, but good for a laugh.
LOL - wow, Keith, if I didn't know better, I might think you love your dog. Yes, the first picture you posted is exactly what I was talking about. I don't know if I can manage to get a picture, unless I could talk someone into holding his mouth open for me. He won't "smile" on command. LOL! I wish I could find a tooth to keep, but so far, I think he's swallowed them all.
Keith- how on earth did you manage to get all of those saved? Were you watching her 24/7??? What's you secret?
