Try to be short so all will read. I have a three year old working line GSD and a 11 month old working line Mali.GSD droped out of sport for bad hip . Great dog wonderful with family and especialy with grand kids. Kind of weak on nerves. Very sharp has had a lot of bite work done and will bite. Have kept all apart as in same room alot but Mal always crated and no actual interaction. Around two months ago I put them together for a short time aftwer the Mal had been worked so he is tired. Mal is very low drive for a Mal to me maybe level 3'4. He loves to work his nose and am thinking about dropping him from sport but he is what I have for now. Also have an old lady Doberman who will be 8 from showlines and is sweet as can be. She use to like him a little but now she does not as he is a little to rough. Have kept the mal from kids al together except for very little interaction. Let them in the yard the other night and he went crazy for the three year old who got scared screamed turned on Zeke the Mal who than tried to jump her even with me holding her up in the air. Bliskan the GSD got out the back door in the mess and didi not like it. I got all seperated and was ok.Today I tried letting the two males together and it was a mess. The mal wanted to play the GSd did not. They eventualy got into it would not listen to me. Mal was very agressive. GSD is dog agressive due to incident. What should be the next step. Have my ideas but would like for them to coexist even if not as friends. hope not to long but with enough detail. sorry for spelling or any other errors
Not sure I understand this correctly. Did Zeke turn on the dobe or on Bliskan, Bliskan on Zeke, the dobe on Zeke, or was it one of the grandkids? I wasn't sure.
I can understand how Bliskan may react that way. He is a pretty sharp dog. Very sharp actually. However, I really can't picture Zeke doing that unless provoked.
