Above is a link to some shots of our last training day. There are some great photos (courtesy of Shelly Timmerman), including a few "off-the-wall" things we do to proof for distractions and keep our dogs fresh and eager to do obedience. And check out the number of folks we pry out of bed for tracking  We formed the club last September, and have some really great - and successful - members. I owe a huge thanks to Art Lavely (of Leerburg board fame) and Jason McNew for starting this club and making it what it is.
If you're in our area (or even remotely close to it), you're more than welcome to check us out. We train most weekends, and our first trial will be the weekend of January 26th. Just drop an email to irondogschutzhund@yahoo.com

Anita, your group looks awesome!! One of my brothers lives in Jax and if I ever travel down that way (umm...maybe some cold winter week!) I will contact your group to see if a visitor will be OK. Your training grounds look awesome - and so do the dogs! Best wishes for your first trial in January. Just out of curiosity, which organization (i.e. USA? WDA? etc.) is your club affiliated with? Just curious, but no biggy..

Hey Beth, come on down! Of course visitors are welcome! But we're having a cold snap right now - it's only about 75 fahrenheit today (that's 24 for the rest of the world) 
We're a USA club, but a lot of our members are also in DVG.

That guy is nothing but a SLEEVE MONKEY and can barely speak English. We should check and make sure that he has his Cuban Passport still.....
His Pic #286 from that link looks pretty funny holding up that wiry female.
Last time I saw him, I told him to get a SADDLE for that Czech Dog of his...........

What do you expect? The guy lives in Ocala, who on earth would want to live in Ocala?
