hi
has any of you guys have heard of orijen kibble dog food?I have been feeding raw for a couple of months now and late last night ,i bumped into a dog food store and saw orijen dog food kibbles, for a kibble it impressed me a lot, they only contain, fresh chicken meat and vegetables,no corn or wheat at all,add to that it also contains salmon, and some botanicals, they say the meat are also human grade, its protein content says it is 40percent and 30 percent fat,in its crude analysis ratio..My question is ,how close is this to raw diet when it comes to meeting nutritional needs?will this be any different from ffeeding raw?coz for convenient sake it is far more convenient but would you guys recommend this in lieu of raw diet?for it seems a company already has found a remedy for people like us who believe in raw diet?thamks for reading up to this point,i am just asking for some experts opinion.

No processed (baked, extruded, and processed to have a long unrefrigerated shelf-life) food can equal fresh food.
QUOTE: will this be any different from feeding raw END
Answer: Of course it will. It's not fresh raw food.
If you are asking about finding a good kibble, that's one thing. If you are asking whether a kibble can equal fresh food..... then no, it cannot.
read your response,ok so i guess its a good kibble and found one; but aside from freshness will it also do good for my dog?like raw food.since it is processed,do you think some of its nutrients have been diminished?you think i can use this kibble for a workiing dog,.any experience on this product?tnx again

I don't fast my dogs, but some do. I feel sure it can't hurt, unless the dog has a blood-sugar problem, but I just never have.
