Somewhere more fun???? This is known as "amateur night" to the hard core party crowd. Been there, done that! Home is now a lot more fun for me and safer too. I have to admit I still think about the "good old days" once in a while. Then I come to my senses.

Edit reason: changed a word
Lee - sorry if I offended. I'm in my 30's so I still consider myself young...of course I also have a 9 and 7 year old...who for the first time are with us for New Years (normally they are with Grandma) and VOW to stay up until midnight.
Alas, it is only 8:30pm (30 minutes past their bedtime) and the friends are looking at us saying are they REALLY going to make it? We shall see...
Forget that dog. the main attraction here is that Brave Bird! Ha ha.
Happy New Year To You All.
And FYI.. I spent 12 right here on the forum with food and drink surrounded by dogs and I will say that in the end, I was grateful that they have made me stay home.
I realized for once that I missed nothing by going out on such a hectic night. That running around, paying an entrance fee, then having 50 sweaty people spill things on me all night, all before having to drive home with a few in me amongst all the drunks is just not as fun as it seems in the planning stage. I now see that 34 is not 24.
I hope you all had a great time as well.
Me too! I remember when I was younger, I used to say, I will never stop going out on New Years Eve, and then I got older and tired and now I say, what was I thinking, I loved the line of the sweaty people spilling things on you, had that happen a few times! I enjoy staying at home, reviewing my year and what I hope to accomplish in the coming year.
Off to get the dogs up and begin a day of working with them.
I am trying to train Cody, he is a good little guy, but so very active, jack russel mix and he spends most of his time jumping straight up in the air! Its comical, no matter what we do, it always begins that way! He is little only 5 months, but smart as a whip. He loves Ed's videos and when I watch them, there he is sitting looking up at the TV. He watches the whole thing! The ecollar training one was especially interesting to him! Ha!
May God bless your day
