I have been feeding it for about a month, Wolfcub for the pup and the WolfKing for the big dogs.
My girl with allergies seems to be doing really well on it, better than she was on Candidae or Innova.

We sell a ton of it at work. They are a good manufacturer but have a flakey supply chain at least with NW washington distro. They also tend to be spendy for the size.
flakey supply chain meaning product delivery to your end?
or ingredient supply chain on the production end?
I spend 39.00 for the large bag, a 30 lb bag I believe. thats barely over a dollar a pound for food that doesnt make her itch within minutes..not too bad in my book
They are eating less of it and not acting hungry like the did with the Innova. Their stools are smaller as well and firmer

I talked to a distributor of raw diets and premium kibbles (such as those on Ed's list) ages ago before I switched to raw and she spoke very highly of Solid Gold.
I know PetCo sells it now...and that surprised me.

Flakey as in distribution to centers who sell the product. Solid gold isn't produced on the scale of oh say Science Diet or Eukanuba. There is a strong possibility here that if you use it regularly you may not be able to find it once and awhile at least in my part of the country.
ok I can deal with that, it was the flakey ingredient supply that worried me.
There are several places in town that sell it, i also buy three big bags of food at once..they eat a lot.
I also feed raw for dinner so I can handle some delays in getting it if it ever happens.
Nico is just doing really well on it, she is much less itchy and not as dry and flakey looking as well as not doing as much ear scratching, rubbing on the floor and shoving it in Lokis face to be licked.
Since Petco sells it now, is quite convenience. The only place I can by quality dry food is 30 miles away form my house.I wanted to go with Orijen but I cant find it around here. I guess I will have to order online. Thanks for the info.
