My question is: I read alot of the posts and watched a few DVD's from leerburg( all of them are GREAT)Ed has a section in his DVD How to raise a working dog about when your dog is in the house you need to be present if and when the puppy is out and your family is interacting with him so finally to the question should the pup be on a leash ( in the living room)????
My pup has been here for 7 weeks and has had about 2 hours total of totally off leash time in the house, sometimes I let him drag it rather than keeping it tethered to me, but it gives me way to catch him and keep control of him more easily.
