I do take her out many times. But after when i put her back in the kennel i stick around a bit then go inside look out the window to check on her and there she goes.

Well, diverting or teaching not to do something isn't really possible without you being with the dog, so I would take her to potty at her usual time(s) and keep her walking with you until she goes.

I give her 1 tespoon of Missing Link Plus each day because of the minerals in it. And i'm going to try a little pumpkin. Thanks for that web site and thx for your help.

I'll try the leash thing. I just never had to deal with this ever so it's new to me. And i'll take more med. for the new blood pressure that i now have.HA HA
First, I would say take the pup out relieve on a leash. The most recent puppy I raised (now 2yrs old) ate his stools and I did this in order to simply not allow him to do it. Also, I would say, relax -- its very disconcerting at the time but odds are the dog will outgrow it. Shambo stopped befire he was a year old and now its a distant memory.
oh -- almost forgot -- one thing I did with Shambo was, I would bring him out to go, and when he pooped I would spray the poop with bitter apple and then walk him by it again, and of course he would not want it.
Connie things went well today on the leash. Today we had good weather it was above 25 degrees so she played a couple of hours with my K9 dog. And drank a gallon of water and peed 2 gallons. But my blood pressure i think went down.HA HA
