All that I've been reading on this forum about the natural diet or raw diet for dogs has gotten me fired up about learning more! It looks like the Schultze Natural Nutrition book is a must have, but I never like to just depend on one source for my information, so I'm asking you all to suggest a second book to buy. Hopefully it won't be The BARF Diet- the title just turns me off, but if it is required reading, I'll get it and read it. There is a Schultze book that Leerburg does not sell- The Natural Nutrition No-Cook Book. Anybody read that one?
Also, would a raw diet help my dog with joint pain?

Thanks a bunch!
I like Carol's list. I have all the LB nutrition books. I think they are all worthwhile. If you want one to give you the "why" and one for the "how," then you might want Billinghurst or Lonsdale along with Schultze.
Is your dog on fish oil and Vitamin E? This is an antiflammation aid to go with all diets, and it's something to start now, while you read. Is this a senior with OA?
I didn't see this one on leerburg's list or I would've linked to it there. Good book. Definately belongs on the shelf beside the others already mentioned.
