My 4&1/2 month old pup has pudding diarrhea for about a week now. I tried not feeding him for a day then feed ground beef and rice, tried Imodium , now he is on metronidazole. What else can I do??? ( I have read Ed's article and been in contact with my vet ) t

Metronidazole is a pretty good medication but it can take a few days before you start seeing any results. It can also cause diarrhea/loose stool so it's possible to see the pudding stuff continue while he's taking it.

Could be he has developed an allergy against Meat Proteins. He will not be the first one to this, Try him on a Fish Based Protein diet, without meat, there is plenty about
