I tried not feeding him for a day then feed ground beef and rice, tried Imodium , now he is on metronidazole. What else can I do??? ( I have read Ed's article and been in contact with my vet ) t

It can also cause diarrhea/loose stool so it's possible to see the pudding stuff continue while he's taking it. True

Had you switched foods at the time the diarrhea started? Is the dog otherwise well? What happened when you fasted the dog for a day and then gave beef and rice (beef?)? When was the last formed poop?
