Sorry for the trouble !! I thought you guys allready now the meaning of the SV 2000 ! A lot of Schutzhund people in Germany ar not longer a member of the SV. We have now a new German sheppard club, calls SV 2000. This club only try to breed healthy working dogs just like the idea from Rittmeister von Stephanitz. The President from the SV 2000 is Eugen Eckert ( Breeder from " von der Fasanerie ", and the Training director is Dr. Helmut Raiser.A lot of the best Doghandler an Trainer of the world are members from the SV 2000 and the show in Köln ist just to introduce the new club.

Remember, there are *thousands* of pet owners on the forum that don't have significant knowledge of working dogs, so that a explanation may peak their interest, and who knows, we might see them on the training field someday!

How far along is this new club? Can you give more info on the club. I have read somethings about it already, but anything you know about its workings and such would be great. Thanks.

I have known Eugen Eckert since 1982. He is an honest honorable man and if he is your president then your organization will succeed.
I see the SV and Schutzhund USA as corrupt failed organizations. Schutzhund USA is loosing membership and will continue to do so for the many of the same reasons that the SV is. Chronism at the highest levels that allows certain members to break rules while judges accept it and look away are rampant within the organization.
It's a sad day but in the long run your org has a good opportunity to improve the breed -= certainly the SV has blown it.
Hi, today is a very importent day for SV 2000 and we will have a big Party this weekend !! Because we just got today the VDH/FCI Status :-)))) The old SV 1899 was startet to kick out old members because they were also members from the new SV 2000. Now with the VDH/FCI status the cant do this anymore.But who needs the SV1899 anyway ?? NOBODY !!! As soon i get new information about the SV 2000 i will post again. I hope that you guys understand the meaning of my posting, i now my writing must be horrible for you. If you have any mor question ask for my phonenumber and feel free to call me.
