I am considering purchasing a working line pup from a breeder. I am not going to post the names of the breeders here. However, here are links to the pedigrees. Can anyone with experience in the pedigrees tell me if they are good or not, or which might be the better pedigree to go with? Thanks!
Breeder 2:
Sire Pedigree
Dam is Quitte von Lugwigseck (cannot find pedigree on pedigreedatabase website) The pedigree on the breeders site shows all SCH1, SCH2 or SCH3 for all parents, grandparents and great-grandparents of this dam. She is supposed to come from the Grafental kennels.
Yes it is. I must have mistyped it into the database and thats why I couldn't find it. Then I copied and pasted it here, so the type is there. Thank you very much for pointing that out!

Just a database hint from someone who has spent many hours looking at pedigree info.
On the main page you can choose the option of "mating check". Type in the parents name or close as you can get it and you will have the pedigree of any offspring. Only one link for people like me that are kind of lazy...... LOL
I might be able to help you. I don't know those dogs personally, but at least 3 out of the 4 are related to my dog (closely related in the Egidius lines). I DO know personally offspring of Said Egidius. As for Quitte von Ludwigseck, I'd have to check pedigrees, may know dogs of common lineage.
I don't have time right now to spend alot of time on the computer. Give me a couple of days. In the meantime, what kind of information are you looking for? Anything specific or general ?
Sal
PS. My dog is out of Mambo z Pohranicni straze and Bassia Canislog, both are listed on pedigreedatabase.com .

Thanks for the reply. My main question is which of the two pedigrees seem to be the better potential for schutzhund and personal protection. By that I mean, which do you think would have the best potential for that work. Whether its from looking at the pedigree or from knowledge of the dogs in the pedigree. Hope that makes sense.
