A friend's lab tore his ACL, she lives near Red Wing MN. Besides the U of MN vet hospital does anyone know of any orthpedic specialists around southern or eastern MN or west Wisconsin?
She's driving home from Texas with the dog right now(he lives with her son in college) so I am doing the research for her.
I found Dr. Levine via Google, he's in Inver Grove Heights.

I know of a good one in Maine... It's a bit of a drive though. I'd be happy to send the information. He did an ACL tear on a friend of mines' dog a few years ago. The friend is actually a human surgeon, so he was pretty particular on who operated on his dog. Might be too far though...
When a flower doesn't bloom, you fix the environment in which it grows, not the flower.
TPLO is the surgery that they were recommended to have.
that list is great, there are a lot of qualified surgeons within a reasonable distance. I was worried that they would just take him to the University without looking into other options.
Cameron, I think Maine is about a 2-3 day drive so I think that we'll rule out that option. Thanks anyway.

I could feed you lobsters
That would be a good enough reason for me! :-) We could have a lobster cook out and maybe even convince someone to give a seminar so the dog trainers could have it be tax deductable!
