Okay, I SWEAR I saw this posted on this board about a year ago but now, I can't find it.
Someone posted that they went and bought 2 melons (cantaloupes) and corrected one five times with a choke chain and corrected the other five times with a prong collar, and then posted photographs of what happened to the melons.
It was cool and I'd really like the link to those photographs; I've personally owned a dog whose neck was damaged by a choke chain and I now refuse to use them. Those pictures were a wonderful illustration of what choke chains really do to dogs' necks.
If anyone can find that post, I would really appreciate it!!
We're closing in on it. Here's a quote from an article by Gary Patterson: "How benign is a choke collar when I have demonstrated that it can actually slice a melon with only a few back and forth movements."
I know, I can't find anything either... but I swear I saw photographs - I can picture them now (no pun intended lol). I remember they were links and you had to click on each one.
