When my dog was 4 months old, he got a lot more tired playing ball or with a stuffed animal tied to a fishing rod than by a walk. At 4 months I only had to play 10-15 minutes and he would be calm the rest of the evening.
Yes I did
we finally tied the knot
I commend all you with german sheperds
she is a handfull boy. And I love every minute of it but gosh working line german sheperd must be 10x worse.
Stephanie, consider it practice for raising human children
Watch her when you take her for a walk, and follow her cue. You'll soon learn when she is getting tired and has had enough. With Hans we knew we'd done too much when he'd decide to lie down during a walk.
Thank you for all the info baby and phoenix just got in a big fight so now I am not sure what to do from here as I said in my intro to baby we lost our house. Long story short we are in a one bedroom apartment again. I call my land lord and she said we will see where we go. But I am not sure how to handle them they do both have kennels of course. But it is not fare to them to be in a kennel for a long period of time. what do yall suggest.
Find another family member to keep her tell he gets out of jail.
Or keep them seperated. As soon as I sept inbetween them they stopped but I dont what anyone to get hurt.

Stephanie,
We have had good luck with having one dog out of the crate for an hour while the other one is crated. Then just put the other one in the crate and let the crated one loose. Works pretty well and is fair to both of them.
