I heard somewhere that if pups have lots of extra skin they will grow into it eventually.
We can still grab huge handfuls of skin and fur around Max's neck, should we expect him to fill it? If so he's gonna be a chunky dog in the neck and chest area - he's half rottie (or so we were told) so I guess he may look more like one when he's full grown.
Our Nickie also has a big handful of skin/fur on each side of his neck! I thought he was pretty much grown by now (he will be 2 years old in September). I think with him it is the half bullmastiff that gives him that characteristic.
yes, Buster still has alot of loose skin as well, I think its a (bully/mastiff) breed characteristic as well as having supposedly thicker skin, to make it harder to injure them.
