We can still grab huge handfuls of skin and fur around Max's neck, should we expect him to fill it? If so he's gonna be a chunky dog in the neck and chest area - he's half rottie (or so we were told) so I guess he may look more like one when he's full grown.

I thought he was pretty much grown by now (he will be 2 years old in September). I think with him it is the half bullmastiff that gives him that characteristic.
