New Pup, picked up as a stray at 8 weeks, now 4 months old. We named her Dag'Raven which is "Day Raven" in a Scandinavian language.
She has a great temperment, Ive seen no fear or shyness of any kind so far, only tenacity and curiousity, amazing focus and intelligence, so Im hoping to make her a working dog but we'll see.

Im wondering what y'all think her mix could be. I know she has lab, but her body isnt of the square build like a retriever, its longer and thin with an arched loin.
THere are two things that throw me; she has deep set, slightly slanted eyes that remind me of a dobies, but she has a corkskrew tail. Her hair isnt all that thick either.
So this is an intro/put in your 2cents on her mix.
I'll be continuously having more questions since Ive never started out with intentions to work a puppy.

That web address doesn't work for me. Is it just me??
It means that some hackers hacked into the service records that tell the Internet where (on which computer) Photobucket is located.
They changed the entries to point to the wrong computer (one at atspace).
Atspace has released a statement that basically says they didn't do it, and are cooperating with Photobucket. Photobucket has restored the service record to point back to the correct computer.
Mary. Your puppy is cute but yea I see your confusion. My guess is Chow Chow, with the blocky body and curled tail, but it will be hard to tell until she is all grown up. She's cute. I'll bet she has lots of different things.
I have a pup that looks like a German Shepherd but has no GSD in him at all. He's got Boxer, terrier, Catahoula, and probably hound. Somehow that strange mix made a GSD lookalike.

yea, that tail threw me. Secretly I hope that she isnt mixed with a northern breed and not-so-secretly I demand that she NOT be mixed with chow.
