Enoch is 4 and half months old and last week he vomited. It looked more like a spit up then anything else. It was a clear white. It looked like the color of saliva. Yesterday morning it was the same thing and I think this morning. When I came down to take him out it looked like maybe he had vomited but I'm not 100% sure. I don't know if this applies but all two mornings except this morning there was a lot of excitement in the house. We had relatives visiting and was up and moving about in the early morning. This is very unusual for our household. Could this just be his nerves and excitement?

His energy level is fine and it has only happened early in the morning and that's it. And no he hasn't eaten before he throws up. I feed his last meal at 5pm. How late should I extend his dinner meal?

We feed him three times a day. 1st meal is usually between 8:30 an 9, 2nd meal at 1 and last meal at 5. I don't think it's serious but of course if it persists I'll take him to the vet. It just reminds me of when babies spit up but I wanted to see what you experts thought.
My GSD did the same thing recently. She threw up foam, white saliva-looking stuff, no stomach contents.
I wasn't home the first couple of times she did it- of course, I was freaked when I found out she'd been throwing up.
Then, she did it when I was home. A close inspection of the mucous *gack*, discovered a puppy tooth. She was hurking her swallowed puppy teeth back up. She'd been accidentally swallowing them, as they fell out during play or meal-times.
If my dog tells me she is healthy, by eating with a good appetite, pooping healthy "logs", peeing normally and routinely, her coat, eyes and nose all look good, and her activity level is normal... I don't worry too much- I just observe whatever symptoms are presented, and try and figure out what benign things could cause them (which sometimes means poking around in dog spew and poo). That's just me though, and some of my comfort is based on having an E-Vet less than 15 minutes from my house.

Thanks Alyssa,
I was wondering if this had anything to do with his teething. He loves ice and used to chomp down on them but now he seems to take a longer time chewing them and saliva just drips from his mouth when he is chewing.
