I would like to own a working gsd as family pet, companion possible competition at local club level. I have been looking at different kennels/websites, list includes : kraftwrekk9, gunbil, fieldcrest, and of course leerburg any recomendations, this dog will be my first working dog, dog will live inside the house with a small female mini snauzcher, no children at this time,(maybe within the next year) and dog will have plenty of excercise.
Obviously you can have a dog shipped, but if a quality kennel is in your area, it's always nice to go see the dogs in person, without paying an arm and a leg to travel (what with gas at the price it is).
Gabriel, I happen to work with a trainer that has litter on the way that would be exactly what you are looking for. We are in kentucky, where are you? Go to you-tube and search
" lolita ". It`s a black GSD that he bred. The new litter is out of the same bitch and sire.

I am getting another puppy from them in a couple of weeks, she feeds them Raw diet and the dogs are excellent companions, working Czech line, great with training, great with children and strong nerves with lots of drive.
