I went through the help froum and found out that bruiser needed his urine tested.
Well we did that they said he did not have a UTI.
So my question is I pull water at 5 30.
Its never enough urine to be wet just enough to make him and the bed smell.
I take him out about 10 befor I go to bed and hubby is home by 7.
And he uses it befor he goes he uses it a lot.
And when he wakes up in the morning what could be causing him to urinate in him sleep.
Cause I think that is what is happening
Bruiser is 6 motnhs old.
Fixed one set of shots and rabies
eat 2 times a day
Take the bed out. Something that A) absorbs the wetness and keeps him from having to "lay" in it, and B) retains the smell, is only going to encourage this behavior, irregardless of the cause.
Are you absolutely sure it's urine, and not saliva?
But the few nights he is in bed with me he does not pee at all.
Thats happens when I fall asleep on the couch and him and phoenix dont get put up.
Roscoe is kenneled by 8 everynight
I will pull the bed tonight see it thathelp over a few nights of doing this.
Os there anything else I could do he is past the age of having to get up at night but I guess I will set a alarn for the next few weeks also
I agree w/Alyssa. Clean the crate w/a pet odor neutralizer, and remove the bed. Also, I had a similar problem with Kodee a few months ago, when I got him a second (slightly larger) crate, to put in my bedroom. (His other crate was in the living room). I didn't put a divider in the new one, since it was only a few measly inches bigger than the one he'd been sleeping in for weeks with no accidents at night. However, he peed in it for 2 or 3 nights in a row. It finally dawned on me that the size difference was much more obvious to him than to me. I put the divider in for a little while, and he's never done it since. He now sleeps un-crated on his bed in my room at night.
