Since I read a thread about Michael's Doggy care, I am wondering what does everyone thinks of Cesar Milian's doggy care? I know that he doesn't invite everyone to come in with their dogs for boarding, but he does bring "red zone" dogs over to be rehabilitated. I have noticed that he kept them separated at first, but he introduce them to his pack. How do you guys feel about it?
At the end of course, they became different dogs and more balanced. Like the rottweiler, pitbull, and few other dogs who went there for aggression issues.

First, let me say that it never fails to raise eyebrows around my house, when Cesar shows his Dog Psychology Center, and his pack.
That said, Cesar knows all the dogs quite well, most of them have been with him for awhile. He knows how they will react to the new dog.
They have shown fights breaking out between dogs, though.

He does indeed.
His facility is unlike anything that most of us ever see, and it has little to do with what we probably think of as doggy daycare.

Well, for what it's worth, I think Cesar pretty much knows what he is doing, and that's why his pack seems to work. But I would not ever let my dogs go to stay with his pack. I've seen it when fights break out, too, they always get stopped quickly, but I just don't like the idea of huge packs of dogs running together. I live in the country and I know what "packed up" dogs can do.
On the other hand, I think Cesar knows more about handling aggressive dogs than I ever will (that goes for almost all the people on this site, too) and I would never argue methods or training techniques with any of them.
I do real well with obediance, and teaching my dogs that the mailman is not the enemy, and rehabbing rescues so that they can learn some manners and be more adoptable, but that's about it for me.

some differences between cesars place, and most other places.
1. the new AND resident dogs are NOT allowed together at first, they are separated by fences, etc for a while. we as viewers dont see this. aggression through the fence=wait to introduce.
2. the new AND resident dogs are EXHAUSTED before meeting eachother....much hard exercise all around. can you as a "doggy daycare"opperater guarantee that your dogs already there, plus the dogs coming in are tired? owners can lie so easy....
3. Cesars resident dogs have been there for a while, and are already an established BALANCED pack, every member. In a doggy daycare setting, you don't have the same dogs every day, and you cannot control what happens when they aren't with you....you cannot be sure a dog that isn't yours is really balanced.

I particularly enjoyed the part in that other thread where michael called Cesar a "fraud".
Because we all know that running a podunk "doggy daycare" is certainly a greater test of training skill than what Cesar does for a living......

I think the work Cesar does with his pack is amazing . He has saved alot of dogs through this . Honestly though as a trainer I think most of his dogs on the show are easy fixes . The owners are the challenge .
The only negative thing I have to say about his show is it seems to have made owning multiple dogs very popular . Most people including myself don't have what it takes to deal with multiple dogs like Cesar does . I'm seeing more and more issues from people with multiple dogs and they all seem to be fans of his show .

Number One: Most other places are not equipped with a Cesar Millan.
