AD= Agility dog
HOT = Handler Owner Trained
Int. CH = International Champion (dog show, the registry is IABCA, can't tell the breed, though)
CD = Companion Dog (Obedience Title if I remember correctly)
CGC = Canine Good Citizen
TDI = Therapy Dog International (Eval means he probably had the evaluation done but never signed up for the certification papers)
OFA of course is Orthopedic Foundation of animals, they rate a dog's hips. Breeding dogs should definitely have their hips OFAd, you want at least a "good" rating.
vWD is von Willibrands Disease (sp?) and is genetic. I think it is found in Dobermanns and some other breeds. If you are buying a pup it is good if the parents are tested clear.
Hope this helps, maybe someone else can help with the others.
BH - Initial temperament/obedience test before the dog can pursue Schutzhund titles. (Begleithund) Not really a title but a prerequisite to getting schutzhund titles.
AD - Endurance run of 20km. Not a title but a prerequisite to getting a koer-klasse evaluation (breed survey). (Ausdauerprüfung)
VPG3 - Same as Schutzhund 3. Apperently, in Germany, the word 'Schutzhund' had become identified with a rather unsavory element of society. So, they came up with new name. ( Vielseitigkeits Pruefung fuer Gebrauchshunde )
HOT - Handler Owned and Trained. Not a title but it shows they personally put the time in to train and evaluate the dog from the very begining. Indicates they own and have personally trained and titled the dog starting with the BH.
RN - AKC Rally Novice. Shows they do a variety of training with the dog -- a good thing.
IPO - International Trial Rules of the FCI
FCI - Federation Cynologique Internationale - International Working Dog Federation - ring sport org.
KNPV - Koninkliijke Nederlandse Politiehond Vereniging - Royal Dutch Police Dog Association - ring sport org.
