Like Connie said, you need a diagnosis from a vet. From my experience, ringworm is treated with an anti-fungal bath, usually a Sulfide Bath. The process is messy, smelly, and not a good experience since the animal has to be lathered in the bath for minutes and then rinsed off. This process is repeated every day for a week or so. Make sure salmon oil is in your dog's diet as the sulfide will dry out his/her coat.
You also have to keep your dog isolated from other animals since it is highly contagious and does cross the species barrier (will infect cats, humans, etc.). If you and/or your dog has a healthy immune system, ringworm is a self-limiting condition so will disappear in time, but consult your vet on this option of waiting it out.
Also, while your dog has ringworm, you must keep areas clean to prevent reinfection especially bedding, rugs, and his/her crate.
