Hey everyone... I know I've been rather absent for a while. I have a good reason! Here is the main one, his call name is Cuda... Yes I picked his name :-p I'm a fool for alliteration, what can I say. He certainly lives up to his name!!
I will get new pictures up, I have taken many but forgot the camera to load the pictures. I moved on Sunday the 7th and am now living on an 80 acre horse ranch in Sams Valley, Oregon. Drove up to get this little beastie on Monday the 8th. He was shipped to me from Georgia.
I will have a page set up for him soon with pics and videos I just don't have internet where I live, yet.
For those curious he is a working American Bulldog of performance/hybrid type. He is my Mondioring prospect pup.
Bites anything and everything hard, full mouth, and nothing phases him. Great drive, he's a go go go go go kinda dude and very smart. So far so good, he's a demon but I love it!
Flup=flup-FLUPPY PUPPY!!! AAAWWWW! I am growing ever more partial to those AB's. There's a guy in our club who has 2, one is a 5 month old pup. Whatever happened to you going after a GSD?????
COngrats and congrats! Puppy and new environment for you.
P.S. I do still love other breeds and want a mal some day and likely a GSD as well just to see and know and experience the differences between the breeds. The AB has been my breed from the start however and I didn't think I would be able to get a pup from this litter, which is one of the very few working AB litters I had any interest in. Super litter, a fantastic breeding I could not pass on and I made it work, got my baby
Thanks everyone! He is a great little pup and I am seeing a lot of very nice things from him. I have very big goals for him and so far he is doing awesome.
Thanks Alex, I wish it had worked out for you to get Chucky Jr but the timing just wasn't right, things will work out in the end!
I was going to give him a week or more to settle in after the big changes in his life but he decided he didn't want to wait. He was a bit "sleepy" for the first few days and I allowed him to get used to all the new stuff, the environment. Well he woke up fast and furious. Leg bites won't be a problem for this guy, I have a few nice punctures up and down my calves and he nailed the back of my knee the other day. Nothing excites him more than seeing the top of a bare foot. He's definitely a bulldog!
After not having a working puppy for a few years my redirection skills were a bit rusty. I think I have perfected the art again.
