My hard crate only fits in the SUV, which my wife usually takes. Looking for a soft crate that is "squishy/bendable" that I can shove in the back seat of my car. He won't chew his way out with a soft crate, and I just need it to contain barf when he travels in the car. He's getting better, but still ralph's all over the place sometimes.
So, a soft crate that I can squish into the back seat, and one that has a waterproof and easily washable leak proof base. Any suggestions, or am I asking for too much?
I've got a Cabana Crate, which I love for travel. However, it's got a PVC frame that folds down when not in use. Most of these travel crates have some kind of PVC frame, so I don't know if they'd meet your "squishy/bendable" requirement<g>. I do believe they have some that have more flexible frames, that you kind of snap open, but I'm not familiar with them.
If the only reason you're using a soft crate is for containing barf (it sure won't be any protection in an accident, for example), why not just get a good, washable/wipable seat cover? (Then again, if he's a spewer/sprayer, I guess that's not gonna do much good for the vertical surfaces, floor, etc.<g>.
