Last weekend, I had the privilege of adding this wonderful boy to my family:
Dutch is filled with boundless enthusiasm and pure joy, and he learns very quickly. He is absolutely nuts for a ball (or sock, towel, scrap of paper, etc. :grin, and I'm not sure he sleeps at all. I can't wait to work him at the next Michael Ellis seminar! He is my second GSD, first working line, and he is already teaching me a lot. For example, I am quickly learning to move the ball faster and keep my hands out of the way, and to stand up straight to preserve my teeth.
This was taken on Monday, the day he came home:
Many thanks to Ed and Cindy for allowing me this amazing opportunity. I don't think I could have found a better dog if I had looked for a lifetime, he is perfect!!
I always wonder about the dogs that Ed and Cindy post under their for sale page. It is nice to see updates. Have you got other dogs too? It looks like the dog in your sig is not him.
He sure is a great looking dog. Have fun with him!!!
The dog in my sig pic is Amara, she is my first dog (pet GSD) and is 2 yrs old. I recently certified her for therapy work, everyone is her best friend and she's never met a stranger.
She and Dutch could just as well be two different breeds, the difference is like night and day.

You lucky thing! I saw his photo on the site and drooled. He is drop-dead beautiful and I loved the description...totally devoted to his family. Congrats on your new baby.
Congrats!! He looks awesome, beautiful big head! I seen him for sale and thought ...Hmmm, wouldnt he be great but I got 3 knuckleheads to deal with so totally not an option LOL
and your girl in the sig pic looks like a sweetheart
Have fun
Believe me, I am the lucky one here. I almost didn't email Cindy (I hate to be a tire-kicker), but then I thought what the h*ll, the worst she can say is "no, he's not right for you". I had actually convinced myself she would say that so I was just bowled over when she said she thought he would be perfect for me.
As far as being devoted to his family, oh yes he is! He is very affectionate, likes belly rubs and giving little chin kisses. He has a great sense of humor, too.
