Kane is a 14 month old intact male GS.He has been on a completely raw diet for 2 months (up until that point using up kibble alternating with raw.) Kane weighs 87 lbs.
This is his typical meal
-1 chicken quarter,or chicken thigh and leg
_8 0z of canned tripe
-1 egg
1 tblsp of plaine yogart
1/4 cup of veggies(from our supper previous evening)not always included
-salmon oil
BTW can I feed cooked beets?
Ive used pork bones or beef neck bones in place of the chicken(for rmbs) he also has ground beef or other cuts of beef.
he will eat heart, liver, but Hates kidneys.

If that is 2 times a day, I think to much. My 95# male GSD gets about 2# a day.Mal is now 77# and cutting him back to 1.25# a day until he gets back down to 74#. Been getting around 1.5# a day. Make sure to add vitamin E. d not dl.
For feeding amounts, you need to look at your own dog and decided if their weight is good or not. My 1.5 yr old GSD boy gets over 4 pounds of food a day and that's 2500 calories, so you can see that amount fed can vary widely from dog to dog.
