I think this is probably the best training dvd I have done in the last 25 years (and I have produced a lot of them over that time period).

The reason this project took so long is that I wanted to get it right. I wanted to do a good job explaining and demonstrating the details of the system. That's can’t be done in a 30 or 50 minute dvd – in fact its impossible to do in that short of a time period. That's why my dvd is 3 ½ hours long.

Marker training dogs is not new. It started in CA back in 1993 and has grown every since. In my opinion many parts of marker training have never been well laid out and demonstrated in any training dvd’s and I have seen a lot of them.

Next year I will begin producing training dvd’s with Michael Ellis. The foundation of Michaels program lies in marker training. To understand Michaels work you will need to understand the concepts of markers training. While Michael did not have any part in the production of this dvd he is one of a small number of people I give a great deal of credit for in opening my eyes to the system.

In my opinion Michael is the best sport dog instructor anywhere. By that I don’t just mean in America – there is no one in Europe that I am aware of that is as good as Michael is at teaching people to teach dogs.

Hopefully I will be getting a puppy in January. The bitch is pregnant now, but I don't know if there is one for me. I have started re-reading some of my books and watching my DVDs. I have some clicker puppy DVDs, but this sounds perfect. LOVE the marker training article.

I bought some stuff from here for my breeder last Christmas and will probably order more along with the DVD. Just love shopping here!
