I have a 5 yr old pit bull. This dog is my best friend and I love him so much. Last week I had to take him to the vet because I found two lumps at the base of his throat. The vet did blood work that came back normal so he was scheduled for a biopsy. This was also done last week in which a lump on his hind leg was removed and sent to the lab. I am waiting for the results. The vet told me it could be 1-gland infection or 2-cancer. I hope to God it is not cancer. Has anyone had this same problem and if so, can anything be done? I can't bear to lose my baby. I have read about a vitamin called Nuvet that some users have said has actually cleared lumps from their dogs. If it is cancer, I plan on getting him treatment. If anyone has any suggestions or insight on how they handled the same problem, please respond to this post. And please say a prayer for my Beau.
