Unfortunately these criminals are found in all lines of work including dog training professions. It is a fact that screening is nearly non-existent in this line of work compared to lets say teaching in a school. I wonder, now that we are on the subject, if background checks are done f.e. for a potential new member/helper of a Shutszhund club (just brainstorming again).
I notice very quickly if one's intentions are good or bad, so I would have not done business with this guy, just by the looks of him, but yes, maybe some background checks would be in order.
