Besides the all coveted LB Gift Certificates.....what would you all like for Christmas?

My wife's birthday is the 12th, our anniversary is the 19th and I have 3 kids. All I want for Xmas is enough money left over for a cup of coffee. Maybe I'll get her the Marker Training DVD and then I can borrow it.

I would love a set of good-quality pasta rollers so I can make my own pasta. A gift certificate to the Baker's Catalog since I'm always ordering from them anyway. Le Creuset and All-Clad cookwear. Deluxe set of Atco decorating tips. I'm always thrilled with anything for my kitchen or home and much prefer receiving that to clothes or jewelry.
Perfume and bubble bath is always on the list since I can't live without either.

I asked for a Kindle book reader, and Doug came to me and said that will have to be my birthday present as there is a 11-13 week wait and he tried e-bay and they are going for $700 plus right now.
Thank you Oprah, for giving them out on her show....ugh
Don't need dog stuff, so I am not sure what I want!!!
Busy putting together holiday boxes to send to our boys fighting for our Country. Our Fire Dept is running a "drive" for items and we are getting good community response.
One thing I would like is a new spotting scope or maybe a laser sight for the grip on my Glock. Have one on the Kimber and I love it.
Steve,
If you need....I will send you a few bucks for coffee....LOL
Tell your wife Happy Birthday and Happy Anniversary!!!
Doug's sons birthday is the 12th as well and he hates having his birthday and Christmas mixed together. So, last year we wrapped his birthday presents in Christmas paper and vice versa for his Christmas gifts.
Compassionate aren't we???

EXCELLENT holiday project!! I found these lists, too, for gift item suggestions: http://www.free-press-release.com/news/200711/1194268424.html
http://www.reflector.com/news/give-2-the-troops-seeks-holiday-gifts-for-soldiers-270192.html
We do an end-care nursing home project, where the residents will be able to "shop" for their relatives and each other on a special day, and volunteers will wrap, and a movie is on the big TV, and cocoa and treats are set up. (We purchase the gifts for the shopping day: everything from $1.29 four-piece boxes of chocolates to cosmetics to shawls, socks, books, toys for their grandchildren --- in other words, any new item is welcome, so no one need feel too broke to participate. In fact, even supermarket plastic-or-paper bags are welcomed for the residents' "purchases." I love this project.)
I would love to organize a project, maybe in our training club, like Ed's last year when we sent mail and listed items to troops!
And here is a no-planning way to triple the value of your gift by taking advantage of the USO's organizational skills and purchasing power, in case it's growing short on time for setting up a new organizational project for this holiday for overseas service people: https://www.uso.org/donate/custom.aspx?id=852&
QUOTE: For every $25 donation you make, the program sends a care package valued at approximately $75 to a deployed service member. At a minimum, the care packages include a personalized message of support from the donor, an AT&T prepaid international phone card, snacks, playing cards, reading material, camo kits containing shampoo, conditioner, hand sanitizer, tooth paste, tooth brush, sunscreen and other requested and needed items. END from https://www.uso.org/donate/custom.aspx?id=852&p=476

Since my husband is such a romantic and very much into gift giving and such (kidding) I'll just use his check book to buy myself some new wool socks from Bass Pro. I'll get them tommorow (for an early Christmas) and if I think of anything else later I'll get that too.
I'll get him some new long underwear (with his check book), he'll love it (not kidding). That's what I got him the last two years, and probably next year too.

Yanno, socks are always on my own wish list!
Is it weird to love a sock drawer that contains every color, many patterns, and both regular and knee-length?

(oh, and last night he tripped over an Egge toy that was in the yard....)

When asked I told my family to forgo presents and just gift me cash towards a new roof for my house; a future with no buckets in the attic would be priceless! (not to mention I'm such a pack-rat and really don't need anymore stuff however lovely it would be! )
We got xmas bonuses from work on Friday, too... I'm picking out shingle colors, lol!
