I bought Loki the everlasting Kong the other day and he really loves it, but he empties it withing minutes. I've stuffed with everything imaginable, peanut butter, cream cheese, little treats, big treats, hot dogs etc. I've frosen it and put in treats with the peanut butter/cream cheese but he goes through it all in five minutes max. I really need something that will keep him occupied longer. Maybe something I can make at home, or if anyone can recommend a good bone he can chew on.

I don't really suggest rec bones. Since he's so into the kong why not try something like a puzzle ball. They take alot more work to get rewards.
I'm pretty sure leerburg sells buster cubes and such.

are you sure that the kong is completely frozen?
I mean, do you leave it in overnight?
I actually make a paste of sorts with peanut butter/creamcheese/kibble. Mush it all together in a bowl and fill the kong with that (make sure to throw something into the bottom of the kong before filling it. Like a bunch of loose kibble so that the tiny hole on the other end doesn't get blocked)and freeze it overnight so it's ROCK SOLID. Make sure that the filling is more creamy than dry. by that I mean make sure that there's more wet ingredients in the mix than kibble.
I have two kongs and alternate them. that way one is in the freezer for the next day and I know it's going to be totally frozen.

Wendy, how much do you give your dog(s)? What size knog is it? I have the Large Jolly Critter ( http://leerburg.com/1090.htm ). Sometimes, if I fill it with more than a spoonful of PB, she'll get loose stools. I haven't tried Cream Cheese yet, though.
Sorry if I'm hijacking!

Thorun,
I would definately keep the Kong in the freezer overnight to make sure it's completely frozen. Or at least more than a couple hours.
I found if i was just freezing the kongs for a few hours, he was still done them in around 20 minutes.
But overnite ones take him much longer for to clean out because they stay frozen longer after being taken out.
I would also get more than one so that you can alternate between them.
Kim:
I have the large Black Kong for Tucker.
Like I said, i MIX everything together with some kibble or other dry treats and stuff it with the mixture. I usually still do layer's so that he won't just give up on the Kong if it gets too difficult. So i'll put some loose kibble on the bottom, spoon in some mix then add more loose kibble (or other dry treats) then another layer of the mix. Just make sure you don't pack it super tight and not right to the top of course. Leave enough room for him to get at the inside with his tongue.
If your girl has problems with peanut butter, give cream cheese a shot, or even some plain yogurt (plain, not flavoured..natural) mixed with the peanut butter.
Just try a few things and see what works. But maybe try a little cream cheese mixed with the peanut butter and kibble. Just don't overload it at first. Ease her into it like you would if you were changing dog food. That way she can get used to the mix. Peanut Butter & Cream cheese are quite rich...thats why i just use it as a binding agent to hold things together. I would try the peanutbutter mixed with some yogurt & kibble first and see if she has any reaction to that. Maybe just cutting down on the richness of the pb would help.

Peanut butter and cream cheese aren't really leaky melty foods.
However, I give chewies and other long-lasting food things either in the crate or on a beach towel.
A few times of taking it back to the towel ended the ideas they had about carrying the items off to a different, preferably carpeted, spot.
Each dog gets his own towel, of course. And I am nearby as the food police.
I never leave treats (or toys).
I just fold the towels back up after. It's not like I wash them after every use.

Thanks Connie...
If it WAS a stupid question you softened the blow of the answer very nicely!! I have a wonderful vision of you as the "food police"...would you have a moment to look at the question I asked in general dog forum an hour or so ago regarding my pups mishap? I would really welcome and appreciate your advice...
