I have a friend who really wants a wheaton terrier. I am helping them look for a good breeder. I have a long list of names I searched for online and I plan on interviewing them myself right now. If anyone here has any opinion on a wheaton terrier breeder or a recommendation please feel free to PM me and let me know. Thanks.
They are very nice family dogs, but need a lot of exercise, and their coats and ears need a lot of attention, frequent clipping/cleaning. There are a lot of puppy mill Wheatons, especially in Ohio/Iowa, so you have to be careful. I know there is a first rate breeder near Tucson Az. I believe it is in Sedona, and the Wheaton Terrier Club (http://www.scwtca.org) lists one there (see below). The club web site lists breeders all over the country. They tend to have allergies (food sensitivities) and I think a few other problems, so it is important to make careful enquires, as always. Good luck.
