Haha! Too cute!
We got a foot of snow last night and there are drifts in our backyard that are 2 ft in some places, and Sandy was loving it. She was hopping around like a little, well gingantic actually , rabbit. It's really funny to watch!
Anyone who has never made a mistake has never tried anything new.
After the plows went by there was snow up to my waist (I got to shovel out the mailbox). George loved it... I had to shovel a path for Humphrey because he wouldn't go in the snow. Wuss.
2 feet of snow? that's crazy! We panic here if we get 2 inches!
Carolyn that video was so cute and funny, my little girls enjoyed it. I am amazed at the amount of snow in that video.
Adorable dog in the video! When we've had four dogs in the yard at once in deep snow like that it reminded me of "Whack-A-Mole" All was good as long as the snow was soft. When it was two feet high and had a crust on it, it meant our fence became mighty short.
We're getting a huge snow storm as we speak; a couple of feet predicted. Not unusual here. You haven't lived until you've hiked five miles through deep snow wearing heavy boots...blah. Good fun for doggie, but the ol' lady gets winded.
Right now it's snowing, windy AND very cold. Tomorrow should be good fun.
All we see here most of the time is sun, sun, sun, so gloomy days here are ALWAYS welcome, hearing about snow, storms etc..is always interesting to me.. LOL...Kristel send us some of your snow here, ours as melted already and it was bright & sunny today ...uhhh
I think winter is a blast if you're into skiing and boarding (and don't drive a small, 14 year old station wagon) but I'm a little uncoordinated for most winter sports. Mostly winter has meant "Marmaduke moments" for my dog and me this year.
It's always at this time of year that I most seriously consider moving down to Florida, somewhere near my Mom....hmmm....
Love the video!
my dog loves the snow, but we've had brutal temperatures the past week -30 C with the wind chill and not expecting much better Christmas week! We are all going a bit stir crazy and cant wait to go play outside again!! Merry Christmas to all Y'all!(pretending to be down south to make myself feel better)
Every once in a while I miss snow (grew up in IL & AR)... I am a little jealous that my brother is getting to try cross-country skiing up in Alaska. But then I look at my palm trees and warm weather and feel pretty content, lol. I bet my dogs would love snow though-
