I live in Buffalo NY and am strongly considering buying a 9 mo pup from Sable Rock Kennels for companionship and obedience. Can anyone give me their opinion or experience? Any help would be appreciated.
I wonder why they have both (German working and American Show?) I agree with Angelique, she is a pretty dog, but you should see and interact with her and see if you can see the parent(s) or littermates if they have them.
When starting my search several years ago they were on my list to visit because my father lives near by. I could never get good communication going. Maybe they saw a red flag in me but I was not impressed either.
If I am seen as unwrthy then say so. Very unprofessional. I figured if it was that hard to get help before the sale then what was I to expect after?
I am shocked to think that Michelle had a bad experience with Sable Rock. I bought my first shepherd from them 6 years ago and anytime I have had questions or just wanted to say hi, Callie (the owner) has always responded to me within 24 hours of my email. When I wanted to get into Schutzhund Callie worked with me for a year until I settled on the puppy I wanted, and just today I sent her pictures of him doing Schutzhund training and she responded to me within 10 minutes.. You can do google searches on the lines of her dogs and see their history as well as the progeny.. I have nothing to gain from recommending them, I just want to see people get a great dog that will be a joy to them and their family, and I have found Sable Rock Kennels the place to find that dog..
