It doesn't come in such fine increments. I give 100 IU to a very small dog, 200 IU to a small dog, 400 to a large dog, and 600 to a very large (over 100 pounds) dog.
Those are pretty much the increments that you will find. In fact, 100 IU is hard to find.

Connie--what do you think about me giving 30-pound dogs a 400 IU capsule every OTHER day? (My large dogs get 400 every day). That way, I only have to buy one dosage of vit. E. (and I could only find 400s and 1000s anyway)...

I want to use it with every dose of fish oil (or in the same day). I'd look for 200 or 100 IU and meanwhile pierce and squeeze half of the cap and toss the rest. 100 is hard to find in stores, but not 200 (here, anyway).
You found only 400 and 1000 IU of Vitamin E? I just typed in every increment (separately) at Google: 100, 200, 400, 600. No problem.
I get my 200s at both Trader Joe's and a local small (similar to Whole Foods) store. Also, http://leerburg.com/53.htm

1. Yes. I am giving the extra E largely to protect the fish oil PUFAs, which are vulnerable to degradation. Giving fish oil (and any PUFA, in fact) means that the processing of the oil WILL use available E in the body, so giving it for months without adding E can actually result in an E deficiency. There is ongoing research (new stuff every week, in fact) about fish oil and E, and much of it is pertinent to dogs. So far, this is what I have taken away on a daily practical level from all that I've read.

Continuing OT...I take fish oil every day myself, but STOPPED taking vit E a couple of years back when the new research came out that vit E supplementation increased the risk of coronary disease. Who knows what to believe anymore?! ;-)
(I only found the 400 and 1000 at Sam's Club where I buy the Fish Oil and other supplements I and the dogs take. Admittedly, I didn't make an extensive search.)
