I am new to the forum and learning to maneuver the site. This is my first time posting on a forum so take it easy on the newbie!
I have 3 dogs: 7 year old male yellow Lab, Buddy; 11 year old female yellow Lab, Presley and 1-1/2 year old female Rottweiler, Cody. All happy go luck farm dogs.
Hoping to pick up some pointers on canine training (manners especially) and raw feeding.
Jen Williams is a friend of mine and turned me on to the Leerburg board. Jen and I also share an interest in horses...we each have 2 geldings.
Cody (Rottweiler) has been with us for 2 months and lately has made it her job to herd the horses as they move from the barn to the pasture. Instinct I suppose but cool to see she looks back to see where I am and will come back when asked to.
Good to see some interesting topics here at Leerburg and responsible exchanges.
Lorraine is more than capable...I hope she doesn't mind me saying this, but she was way too modest in her intro. You all know what a psycho I am; for perspective, let me share the fact that not only do my horses reside w/Lorraine 24/7, but she has even been entrusted w/Caleb, Xander, and Qira-all at once!I have never left my dogs anywhere before. Xander gets to spend New Year's w/her and her gang while I'm on my little road trip.

A well trained dog is a pleasure to watch; one working on instinct is awe inspiring. BTW welcome Lorraine.
